"I aimed to express the universal shape of a house while creating a functional object. This wine bucket features a roof-shaped lid, with a side opening that allows a bottle to be placed at an angle, resembling a chimney. In Korean culture, chimneys hold symbolic meaning, representing a passage for blessings and a space where myths and ancestral rites intertwine. Often described as a meeting place for humans, animals, and mysterious beings, the chimney becomes a —a conduit for invisible power. I hope this piece serves as a channel, connecting people through the shared experience of wine and conversation."
