"This work represents a small piece of my vision of home and the practice of building it one piece at a time. Home is about community most often around a table prepared by women and femmes. Home is about love, sharing and nourishment. This piece takes a motif from my work, "the petal" and transforms it into a vessel representative of home and the work women and femmes do to maintain it."
