"The series of Rubber Libraries explores the flexibility of the rubber paired with strong joints. Rubber appears very often in industrial contexts, looking almost pathetic, out of place or ruined. Here it serves as panels for furniture. We punch it with rivets and sculpt it as furniture like we sculpt jeans, encapsulating its very capacity to be bent and hold in place, proposing unexpected ways to build furniture."
